TIPS FOR APPLICATION, LONG-LASTING WEAR, & MANIFESTATION

Each Conscious Ink Manifestation Tattoo has been purposefully created to empower you on your personal journey. The steps below will help you get the most out of your Conscious Ink. Happy manifesting! This video also shows how to apply!

Step One: Prepare

Your body is a work of art. Let’s prepare the canvas. Be sure your skin is clean, dry and oil/lotion free. To significantly increase the longevity of your tattoo, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND using a little rubbing alcohol to clean/prep the skin area first, especially if you have oily skin or use lotion regularly. Lotion can actually be used to remove the tattoo! Do not apply tattoos on skin that is sweaty or hot from a workout, like after a hot yoga class. Tattoos won’t adhere properly. Wait for the skin to cool down before applying.

Step Two: Set

Select an area on your body that doesn’t get too much wear & tear (or that can be rubbed by jewelry). The forearm is a perfect spot, as opposed to the wrist. We don’t recommend placing on hands or feet for long-term wear. You can shower and wash normally. Most soaps do not impact your tattoo. Have fun and get creative. Don’t forget you can combine tattoo messages!

Step Three: Manifest

Patience is a virtue for a reason :-). Take your time here. Remove transparent cover. Place the tattoo face down on your skin and soak with a wet paper towel, cloth or sponge. Soak thoroughly all the way to the edges! Wait at least 30 seconds. During this time, you can focus on what you'd like to see manifest in your life. That’s it. Your tattoo and intention have been set! If you notice any stickiness from the tattoo after application, this is normal. It’s just excessive adhesive that you can gently wash off with soap and water. You can also apply a little baby powder on the tattoo if you ever find your tattoo sticky. After initial application, your tattoo may appear a bit shiny. This wears off naturally within a couple hours. A dash of baby powder will also remove any sheen. Also, please understand, that natural wear of the tattoo occurs throughout the life of tattoo...that means there may be some fading and some showing through the tattoo. This is normal. We painstakingly design our tattoos for longer wear, and continuously improve them at each reprint, taking into account thickness of the lines, along with legibility of the message. TATTOO REMOVAL

Removing your tattoo is easy. Use household tape, baby oil, rubbing alcohol, or hand sanitizer. Your ink may be physically gone, but its impact will remain.

How long does Conscious Ink last on skin?

Conscious Ink Manifestation Temporary Tattoos last 3-7 days on average, based on attentive application, tattoo placement area, skin type and activity level. We recommend using a little rubbing alcohol to clean/prep the skin to increase length of wear. (Excessive sweat and heat reduces the life of the tattoo.) Do not apply tattoos on hot or sweaty skin, or skin with lotion, as they will not adhere to skin properly. See application tips for more detailed information. Return to Top

Can I shower with my Conscious Ink?

Yes, and we highly recommend it! ;-) Don't worry, water and most soaps will not remove your tattoo, but do avoid excessive scrubbing of ink directly. Return to Top

Are Conscious Ink tattoos safe for application to my skin?

Safety is the highest priority at Conscious Ink. All Conscious Ink Temporary Tattoos are made in the USA with cosmetic-grade FDA certified inks, and every tattoo meets or exceeds all U.S., Canadian and European Union regulatory requirements, including FDA, CPSC and ASTM. Our tattoos have been rigorously tested as safe and non-toxic, and meet or surpass safety standards for cosmetics and toy products. Vegan. Cruelty-free, never tested on animals, and contain no animal products.

Temporary tattoos are not recommended for those with sensitive skin, or if allergic to adhesives. Do not apply near eyes, lips or open wounds. Not intended for children under 4 years old.

Tattoo Ingredients (includes FDA certified colorants): Acrylates/VA/Vinyl Neodecanoate Copolymer. May Contain: Black 2 (CI 77266), Blue 1 Lake (CI 42090), Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140), Red 7 Lake (CI 15850), Titanium Dioxide.

Concerned about soy allergies?

Our temporary tattoos do contain an ingredient called, glycine soya, which is associated with the soybean. However, the glycine soya has not posed allergic risks. It is an oil that is a drying agent. What that means is that it hardens to coat the surfaces of the ink in the tattoo. The allergy comes from residual protein in the oil, but, once the oil hardens, if any at all protein exists, it would be incorporated into the coating from the “drying”. Drying means that the unsaturated oils in the total oil react with oxygen, in turn they form a clear polymer. This coating encapsulates the inks and other ingredients of the tattoo, in addition to the adhesive which acts as a barrier between the tattoo and the skin. Return to Top

How are temporary tattoos applied?

Conscious Ink is fast and easy to apply. The skin should be clean and free of OILS, LOTIONS and MAKE-UP. Next, remove the clear, protective top sheet. Then press the tattoo firmly onto clean, dry skin with the design facing down. Hold a wet paper towel, or cloth, against the back of the tattoo, press down and make sure to soak it thoroughly. Wait 30 seconds and slowly peel-off the paper backing. Gently rinse the image with water for best effect and allow the tattoo to dry before touching or covering with clothing. To significantly increase the longevity of your tattoo, we recommend using a little rubbing alcohol to clean the skin area first, especially if you have oily skin or use lotion regularly. How can temporary tattoos be removed?

You can remove temporary tattoos with rubbing alcohol, baby oil, or transparent household tape. Temporary tattoos are resistant to water and most soaps. Return to Top

How quickly will you ship out my order? How long does shipping/delivery take?

Our in-stock Manifestation Tattoo Products typically ship within 1-5 business days. NOTE: This time is in addition to the shipping time it takes to deliver your package. (If you would like to know when we plan to ship your package, or if would like to request for us to ship right away due to a tight deadline, please email us at: Hello@ConsciousInk.com).

For Priority and Priority Express shipping, we do our best to ship your order same day if order is received by 1pm PST.

Standard First Class USPS Shipping with tracking typically takes 3-7 business days in the U.S. Expedited shipping options available. See detail below, or at checkout page.

International shipping approximately 2-3 weeks. Most international orders, including Canada, are not able to come with tracking, unless shipped with expedited Priority Shipping. Expedited shipping is available at an additional cost.

Conscious Ink offers FREE shipping & handling in the US & Canada on orders $40.00 USD (approx $58CAD+)! For orders below $40USD (approx. $58CAD), shipping is a flat rate of $5 USD for US & Canada. All US orders include tracking. We do this to ensure the highest rate of success that you receive your package, and in a timely fashion. You can track your package from the link of your shipping confirmation email. USPS First Class delivery time in the US is typically within 3-7 business days. Bad weather or other factors may delay delivery. Delivery to Canada is typically 8-12 business days, up to 21 business days. Canada orders ship with USPS First Class Mail which unfortunately does not come with tracking. Tracking is only available with expedited shipments.

Conscious Ink is not responsible for duties, customs fees. International customers are responsible for any import/custom duties that may be applied to international orders by the associated country.

For International orders, shipping is a flat rate of $5 USD. For International orders, we ship USPS First Class (no tracking) 7-21 Business days. What shipping methods are available?

For shipping, we use the United States Postal Service (USPS). Orders over $40 USD (approximantely $58 CAD) ship for free in the US & Canada. You may choose expedited shipping at an additional cost which will ship Priority Mail 2-4 day in the US (6-10 days in Canada), Priority Express Mail 1-2 days in the US (3-5 days in Canada).

NOTE: USPS does NOT guarantee their Priority Mail 2-3 day in the US (6-10 days in Canada). They only provide a money-back guarantee for Priority Express Mail 1-2 days in the US (3-5 days in Canada).

For international orders, there may be delays due to customs. There may also be customs fees, which is the responsibility of the customer, not Conscious Ink.

Why is regular shipping so expensive, $5 to ship such a small item?

We agree $5 USD is a lot for shipping for such a small item! The reason for that is because we now offer tracking with every shipment, at the majority of our customers' request. So now everything ships as a “Package” in order to provide tracking, which is why it’s so expensive.
