The meaning
What an “I Can Elect To Change All Thoughts That Hurt.” tattoo means
A reminder that the painful thought is not a life sentence; you can choose another.
The word elect matters here. The Course frames thinking as a decision, which means the thoughts that wound you are open to revision. You are not stuck with the first one that arrives.
Carried on the skin, it is a cue to use that choice, to trade the thought that hurts for one that heals, moment by moment.

Who wears it
For the one ready to choose a kinder thought
This is for the person who has realized their inner voice can be edited, and who wants a reminder that the pen is in their own hand.
It is a supportive gift for someone rebuilding their self-talk, or a Course student practicing the daily work of choosing again.
How to wear it
Wear it where the old thought runs
The inner wrist or forearm keeps it in view when a familiar painful thought shows up and a better one is still an option.
Apply it on a morning you want to set the tone yourself, or before something that usually sends your mind to a dark place.
Clean, dry skin, press for 30 seconds with a damp cloth, then peel the backing, and it looks real for 3 to 7 days. See how to apply.
Made to be worn close, and worn often.
