The meaning
What a “This Too Shall Pass” tattoo means
Four words that have carried people through grief, waiting, and nights that felt like they would never end.
The phrase holds a double comfort: the hard thing is temporary, and so is the good, so hold both a little more lightly. Nothing stays, which is exactly what makes this moment bearable.
Worn where you can find it, it steadies a shaking hour, a reminder that the season you are in has another side to reach.

Where it can meet you in the hard hour
The inner wrist keeps it close, a glance down for the moments the weight feels like it might not lift.
Many apply it at the start of a difficult week, or on the morning of something they have been dreading.
Clean, dry skin, press for 30 seconds with a damp cloth, then peel the backing, and it looks real for 3 to 7 days. See how to apply.
