Our tattoos last 3-7 days on average (based on application, placement area, skin type & activity level), with some customers reporting 10 days of wear.
We’ve listed a few tips below that can help you get the longest wear possible.
Most often it’s an application issue, or an unusual rubbing issue. You may have followed the application instructions correctly, but we’ve listed our most crucial application tips below for reference. There may be some things you might not suspect, like oil based soaps, body wash, or lotions, that may cause premature wear. So, hopefully, with these tips, you’ll start experiencing longer wear moving forward.

APPLICATION TIPS
Sometimes, we may have oil/lotion residue on our skin we may not realize from shower body wash for instance, which is why we recommend using a little rubbing alcohol to clean/prep the skin. Avoid oil based lotions/soaps when washing the tattoo area. Water and gentle soaps should not impact wear.
Other times, the back of the tattoo may have not been soaked long enough. And placement of the tattoo is one of the biggest factors, selecting a place on the body that doesn't get too much wear and tear, or movement. For instance, we recommend the upper wrist/forearm as a great spot.
Sometimes, It may take a couple applications to find your own personal sweet spot.

Do I have to apply Conscious Ink on my arm/wrist?
No, you can apply Conscious Ink wherever you like! We do recommend the upper wrist/forearm because you’ll be able to see it throughout the day, and it’s a good spot for long-term wear. If you choose a different spot, just be sure to avoid applying on skin creases, or places where there could be a lot of rubbing on clothing or jewelry. Applying on hands and feet are not recommended for long-term wear.
If I mess up the applying my ink, will Conscious Ink really replace it?
Yes! Although it’s super easy to apply Conscious Ink, sometimes a mishap happens, even to the best of us! No worries though. We’re happy to take care of you. Just email us at: Hello@ConsciousInk.com
Will Conscious Ink show up on dark skin?
Yes. Our realistic "blueish-black" ink color shows up perfectly well on dark/black skin. If you’re unhappy with the look, no worries at all. You can return for a full refund.
