The meaning
What a “Holy Instant” tattoo means
The Course’s name for the moment you step out of time and into peace.
A holy instant is any moment you set down the past and the future and meet the present without judgment. It is small, available, and always one breath away.
Carried on the skin, it is an invitation to drop into that opening whenever the day gets loud, and to begin again.
- Intention
- Presence & peace
- Often worn for
- Meditation, overwhelm, beginning again
- Pairs with
- This Instant Is The Only Time There Is · Be Present
Who wears it
For the one seeking a doorway out of the noise
This is for the meditator and the Course student who knows the relief of a single quiet moment and wants a cue to find it more often.
It makes a gentle gift for someone on a contemplative path, or a friend learning to pause before reacting.
How to wear it
Wear it where you return to now
The inner wrist keeps it in easy view when you want to leave the churn of thought and come back to the moment.
Apply it before meditation, or wear it as a standing invitation to drop into stillness between one task and the next.
Clean, dry skin, press for 30 seconds with a damp cloth, then peel the backing, and it looks real for 3 to 7 days. See how to apply.
Made to be worn close, and worn often.
